Do I need any experience?
No, you don’t need any prior experience to get involved with our mission. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference. Every volunteer strengthens our efforts and helps us build deeper connections, expand our reach, and create meaningful change throughout our communities.
Do I need to speak Spanish to volunteer?
No, while also being able to speak Spanish is valuable and can help in reaching more members in our community, it is not a requirement to be a volunteer. We welcome anyone with open arms, who share the same values we have when it comes to serving our communities.
Does ELLA Adelante provide trainings for volunteers?
Yes, regardless if you have experience or not we want every volunteer to feel supported and fully confident when contributing to our work. Our team will always provide resources, and trainings suited to each opportunity. Making sure our efforts are clear and concise is important to our mission.
Are volunteer opportunities compensated?
There are opportunities for volunteers to be compensated for their efforts, depending on the program, the funding we have available and the level of effort needed from a volunteer. We believe that everyone's time is valuable and that your support should be recognized.
